That's a completely fair assessment, 5.4 million retained is a lot though for that first year, I feel like that would be the kind of retention that Calgary walks away from (but personally, the local radio talks about them trying to compete for a wildcard, I would hope for another depth pick out of Jersey but pull the trigger regardless and get as many players like Holtz, as much free cap and as many firsts as possible for the near future when the new rink gets built)
