Wild are not moving Ek whatsoever he is arguably their most valuable player, hardest worker, and leader.

Fair, but I would think everyone is available at a price. Minnesota are kinda stuck in no man’s land and can’t do anything about it until the Suter/Parise buyouts decrease. They would get a player that is 2 years younger in Casey and a prospect

he is on one of the best contracts in the league for the next 6 years. mittelstadt would be nice if we had room on our roster/cap space for something else but we don't

There’s plenty of other guys they’d look to move WAY before they’d consider what you’re thinking
I’m a fellow Sabres fan, & i like your idea
But it’s just not realistic

Minny isn’t trading him

It'd be like a team trying to trade for Dahlin, sure there's a price, but it'd be too high for any GM to be willing to do

Funny you say that because even if the Sabres were willing to do it Minnesota can’t afford the Dahlin extension.
