Maybe Flyers should trade for Parayko 🤷🏻, but Leafs have no interest in taking on that contract. He’s a good player but is 30,+, is overpaid and has 6 years left 😳 - he’s unmovable imo.

Leafs are far better keep Robertson, Niemela, and the first and spending 6m on a UFA this summer. Watching him against the Leafs this week, and I know it's one game, gee I though he looked slow. You're right, I don't see how it's going to age well.

By the way, I watched the San Jose/Flames highlights of last night. San Jose won 6-3 in Calgary. Gee, I don't see the love for the Calgary Dmen at all. But on CF, all the Flames Dmen are better than any Leaf Dman except for Reilly.

Nothing wrong with Parayko and 30 is not old for a D man, he will be at his peak for another 4 or 5 years. Blues are not going to trade him anyway.

1.5 m for Martin? No. Murray would be a better bet and he may take 1.5m. Don't think I would go above that for him and perhaps start with a lower offer.

Rest of the stuff is 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Pretty standard in general - but especially on this site - for fans to think bringing in players from other teams will solve their team’s problems. I think the Leafs should try to trade for a dman but prices - again, especially on this site - are clearly too high right now; we’ll have to wait a few weeks for pressure to mount & teams to drop out of race before we see any moves

What dmen are now - or have ever been in the history of the league - at their peek in their mid 30’’s? Good one 😂
