No goaltender is worth giving up a top 6 forward for

That was the suggested trade from the show this morning, but I don't think it was Friedman. It was one of the other guys (Marek maybe).

The Kings should stay far far away from this trade. Kempe is locked up for 2 more years at an incredibly team-friendly cap hit, and their goaltending hasn't been bad. Saros only has one year left.

If Blake's job was in jeopardy before this trade, he's guaranteed to be shown the door if he pulls the trigger on this one.

I wasn’t sure who said/suggested it. All I know when I read it, my jaw dropped…like wtf?? Why would Kings even consider that? I was more confused than anything cause whether it was EF or Marek, they should know that’s ridiculous. Maybe they’re hurting for viewers/likes/whatever it is now a days (showing my age). I’m also on East coast so I don’t know what’s being said out in LA…thoughts on Kempe, is there issues inside locker room, has he said anything…I don’t know. Again, I saw it and was immediately dumbfounded. You don’t trade a player like Kempe for a goalie…no matter how good imo.

Whoever suggested it knows nothing about it. Like zero.

Kings are in no position to trade Kempe. They don't score as it is.

No, Marek is dumb. Kempe is one of the hardest working players on the team and is a coach's favorite for his exceptional 200-ft play. He is also well liked in the room by his teammates. If there's any knock on him at all, it's that he can be streaky at times.
