Better add Caulfield and Reinbacher instead of Barron and Allen and add another 1st or 2 next year.

What? First trade is awful for the habs and I’m a big Kerfoot fan. And let’s just ignore this Buffalo trade. It would probably be enough for Tuch but not Thompson

So you’re telling me a top 7 pick, a young RD and another first isn’t enough for Tuch. That’s delusionnal

Tuch is untouchable, The Sabres aren't trading for futures, Barron isn't that good

No reason whatsoever for Buffalo to deal Thompson.
Also that deal for Kerfoot makes no sense for the Habs.

Everything has a price. An extreme overpay can pry any player. This is an extreme overpay. A top 7 pick (so Catton or Eiserman, who will be better than Tuch), another first and Barron

Barron is nhl ready, he is 21th in his draft class for pts has a D. He will be better defensively. He will almost certainly be a top 4 D. He would be Buffalo’s best young RD and second best Rd right now, behind Jokiharju.

Who is realistically giving a top 7 pick, a young RD worth a first + and another first for a barely ppg aging winger. If Tuch ends up on the market, he is getting like 2 first in value

The cream of crop are in top six so maybe, maybe not Barron of no interest. Would START at Reinbacher and first for just Tuch

Are we talking about the same Barron who u guys sent down to the AHL ??
Lolololol

He’s an intriguing young player,
but absolutely DOES NOT move the needle in a trade for Mitts
And neither does a top10 pick frankly,
bc we are trying to WIN NOW

This trade doesn’t help us with that- it’s a joke
Tuch is gonna be our next Captain, & he is effectively “untouchable”
It would take an overpay so drastic than no one would be willing to pay it

It just isn’t happening
Gonna have to deal with it, guy

Barron isn't worth a 1st. Tuch is 27, **** everyone is aging by that definition. And nothing is locked in top 7 yet. Stop.

Barron is 100% worth a first. Former first who is matching expectations and his value has gone up since the draft.

And realistically, do you really think the habs will have a worst pick than 7?
