Domi didn’t return a 1st last season when he had 18 goals and 49 points in 60 games, yet you think he would this season when he has 5 goals and 25 points in 52 games? Pure delusion

Minnesota isn’t trading a potential top 10 pick for a would be bottom pair dman

Bertuzzi doesn’t return a 1st. In a world where he and Domi return 1sts then you’d have to pay a 1st++ for Tanev

It's called supply and demand.

18/50 players on the TSN Trade bait board are Defenseman.

Every playoff team could get one if they wanted and still have more left lol.

5/50 are goalies.
7/50 are C which is why Domi is valuable. Unless you have $5M+ in cap space everyone on the list is fetching a 1st. Even Dowd most insiders are saying the asking price is a 1st.

Bert is just a unique player that GMs highly value hence why he got a 1st+ last year with less 5v5 points per 60 than he has this year.
