Avs decline, if they are moving a first it’s going to be for a centre not a wing

Ottawas 2 problems were their system of play and goaltending. With the coaching change they’ve played much better away from the puck, don’t get caught pinching up the ice nearly as much and aren’t giving up nearly as much high danger attempts. Think that problem has been mostly solved but man their goaltending is just so bad lol it feels like it got worse as the season goes on

idk if I can say it wasnt coaching yet, but we have trotted out 3 of the worst goalies statistically in the entire NHL this year. Less than half our games weve gotten .900+ save perccentage

The team has been drastically better under Martin what are you talking about? They've posted some of the best underlying results in the league since 2024 started, it's night and day difference in their team play. The problem is that it doesn't matter if the goalie can't stop a beach ball

They're already showing great improvements across the board. Their team play is significantly better, the only things holding them down right now are the powerplay and more importantly the goaltending. They're taking care of business in the D zone, and it doesn't matter because the goaltending is the exact same results.
