Quantity doesn't equal quality. McMann, Robertson, Timmins and a third don't add up to the first we're hoping for in exchange for Adam Henrique with 50% retention.

There's a reason why Robertson and Timmins get traded away in over half of all Toronto ACGMs.

Hanifin likely gets a better offer.

Robertson is better than Henrique. So that trade is completely absurd.

Hilariously ridiculous homer take. Robertson is an undersized winger no legitimate coach would allow near the face-off dot who has accumulated a massive 24 points in his entire career and is scoring this season at a rate just below 0.5 ppg. Henrique is a defensively responsible center who kills penalties, has a face-off win percentage over 50, and has 35 points (just under 0.7 ppg) this season.

At some point in the future, Robertson may be a top-6 forward. He isn't one now, and I wouldn't bet on him. He could easily be the next Jesse Puljujarvi.

Robertson vs Henrique this season:
5v5 Goals per 60 mins: 1.1 vs 0.8
5v5 Points per 60 mins: 2.3 vs 2.0
CF%: 49.6% vs 48.2%

More advanced analytics:

vs
GFHsDp8W8AAP2l6?format=jpg&name=medium

The fact that there is even a reasonable debate to be made when Henrique is 33 and paid 6x more shows that Robertson is worth more.

Oh, so Andy-Rono.com is "facts"? The very FACT that Robertson's defensive impact rating is 69 and Henrique's is 41 tells everyone with an IQ measurable in three digits how much weight to put in this nonsense.

With regard to trolling, your reputation precedes you. I'll let our respective records speak for themselves.

Whether it's advanced analytics or regular stats by every single possible objective measure Robertson has been the better player this year.

You haven't provided any evidence to the contrary. Put any of their "traditional" stats measured per 60mins to account for how much more Henrique plays and Robertson beats him. It's even surprisingly close when you do hits/60.

So your only arguments is that he's a C (which doesn't matter to Toronto, we literally played Tavares on the wing today one of the best players in the dot because we have loads of guys who are league leading at faceoffs).

If the Leafs needed a two way 3C then yea Henrique is better at that role than Robertson. But the role to be filled is depth scorer and Robertson is way better suited for that.
