Description

Montreal could use one of his many picks to enhance his draft position in 2024 in exchange of salary retention.

I prefer returning Roy to play meaningful games in Laval than play bad minutes with the big boys for now. He needs time to adjust better. He will be better for him to play next year.

I chose Bonino, but it could be any waiver claim in case of an injury . Our depth at center is thinner now.

I'm not sure Dallas does that trade even if you take out the 1st Round Pick. I know they don't do that trade with the 1st Round Pick included.

Third-party retention on an expiring contract is more likely to net Montreal something like a fourth round pick.
