Probably the last likely landing place for Jarry is LA.

Mike Buckley, the Penguins Goalie coach who was fired after Jarry started off the 20-21 season poorly, is now the Kings goaltending coach. They would be interested in almost all other past penguins goalies, but Jarry Tristan and Buckley have a tainted relationship. Besides LA would be over the cap with that trade, and it's a bit too much for a team that has two goaltenders with a Save % above .910 and cost the team less than $2M collectively.

I don't see a Jarry trade or a Petterson trade during the season.

That’s good background info on the Buckley connection I admittedly was unaware of. The trade doesn’t have to be with LA, and the Pens may trade Ned instead of Jarry, but I do think one of the two goalies will be traded by the Pens sooner than later. Pens just called up Hellberg (wish they’d give Blomquist a shot) with no apparent injuries…

I think NJD would object to the value, I'd add Ned on our side and take on Vanecek's contract to get a guy like Holtz
