Ehh no thanks

A future late 1st a RHD that is about the same as a couple we already have and Lysell just doesn’t feel like a reason to trade away Zegras

I don’t believe Zegras fits the Boston culture and if they are acquiring a young center with talent, you can expect a goalie to be involved.

I see Lohrei, Poitras, and Lysell playing an important roles for Boston next year allowing them to allocate salary to other positions

i can't think of a less "bruins," style player than zegras. doubt they have interest in him.

I thought Zegras would be a good add but have talked myself out of it since, the players/picks they'd have to give up doesn't seem worth it. Bruins are essentially 1 top 6 forward and top 4 LHD away from being a true contender and by trading for him you're going to have to get more pieces. Roll with Coyle and hope he can have another 60 point season, Zacha seems like a relatively stable 50 point 2nd line center, or if Poitras improves and can solidify the 2C spot you move Zacha to the wing.

I'm staying far far away from Bertuzzi, I'd much rather sign Guentzel.

I also think you have to re-sign JDB. You're not going to get his defensive play and offensive upside on the open market for $5.5-$6.5.

Contrary to popular belief, most unrestricted free agents that are traded or not signed at the deadline will put themselves in a position to be a free agent on July 1st. Boston is going to be a very attractive option for many of them.

Also, I think people writing of Bertuzzi in Boston are just guessing. I could see Sweeney revisiting him, but I’d rather have a defensively sound forward like DeBrusk if I’m choosing between them

I came to say this, that’s even worse for ANA. LD pipeline is a logjam. Both teams decline

I don't see a fit for either team to be honest. Zegras doesn't really fit what Boston wants in its centers and what Boston has to offer, Anaheim already has enough of.

No I agree with you 100%

Z isn’t a Boston type guy which is okay and you guys don’t have what we want either so it’s just a pretty easy to assume that isn’t going to be the Anaheim // Boston trade if the year lol

Anaheim doesn't need LHD, So that kills the deal right there.

Like Detroit Anaheim doesn't need LHD unless it's a major upgrade like Chychrun or Hanifin. So they still pass.
