Rangers would decline, but Mangiapane is actually, in my humble opinion, the ideal option for the NYR.

A possible deal could be this:
Since Dolan apparently wants to keep the 2024 NYR 1st rounder, the 2025 one would have to be sent to CGY. But this would mean the NYR would not have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd in 2025.

So I'd ask CGY for this:

Rangers send:
-F prospect Adam Sykora(drafted in 2022)
-2024 2nd rounder
-2025 1st rounder

Flames send:
-2025 2nd rounder
-Andrew Mangiapane(IMO, at least 2M would have to be retained)
