Tuch and Skinner have shown to be more 2nd line players. Both have not had not come close to what was expected after last year. I think the Tuch we see this year is the Tuch for future years. An offer like that is normally more than enough. Problem is that Buffalo is tired of rebuilding and probable would want a player with higher ceiling than Jarnkrok as Jarnkrok ceiling is reached as a 3RW capable to moving up temporarily. Buffalo would want Robertson over Jarnkrok I would think. Then is it worth it for us.
The bigger no for me is Dallas, Dallas has a good top pair then after their defence significantly drops like the leafs. They are in need defensive depth. Why would they trade their own depth when they need it?

It's an embarrassing and insulting offer.

Retaining for 2.5 years alone would cost a 1st

I did not see the retaining of salary but even then retaining salary does not always equate to 1st round picks. There is a lot of other variables. As I said Buffalo would want more than Jarnkrok. They would want a scoring forward with promise to jump into their top two lines. Hence Robertson who shows promise as a top 6 winger. The salary retention will definitely add a pick probably a 2nd or higher considering the term as well. Leafs have none for three years, thus Buffalo would want 2 1sts or a light condition on a third like the leafs making it past first round in next two years.

Buffalo has no interest in moving tuch.

This is nonsense.

Wait what? We are up to the rafters with undersized forwards. Know what we need- 4 million dollar power forwards who play defense. Last I saw, a few teams inquired about tuch, adams shut them down immediately.

No, u have NO IDEA what we’d want
Tuch is likely to be our next Captain and is basically untouchable

Zero chance we’d move him
And u guys don’t have what we’d want anyways
