Tampa accepts, and they'd likely offer more than a 4th to add Seeler on as well.

Don't know what the Sabres plan is with Jokiharju tbh. Possibly could be bought, if the Sabres have a better option for RD coming in

I would only make that Laughton trade, if he were 50% retained. With retention, lets do it. Without, I pass easily. We need that cap space for D.

Jokiharju has been the Sabres best RD this season
He’s managed to stay healthy & look pretty good for the most part
It is possible we’d move him, but it would most likely be as part of a package for a RD upgrade (i would think)

We’d have to sign a UFA like Matt Roy to even consider a move like this

These guys are right. Jokiharju isn't some untouchable piece, but he is an nhl defenseman, and a right shot one at that. My problem with him is simply that we have a need for a different skill set, we've got plenty of bottom 4 puck movers, we need more defensive d, and physical players to cover for the other guys that don't do that. The Sabres likely would need to get a right d that fits our needs better for jokiharju to be made available. I'd be moving a lot to get the right guy, which would open jokiharju up for a pick, but I've got my doubts our gm would do anything aggressive.
