Calgary might consider adding Hanifin for that! (I would say a 1st for Tanev would be enough, even Dellandrea and a 2nd)

Gotta think Bjugstad costs more than just a second: Edmonton paid that and a prospect for him as a rental. Term begets a larger return.

No we wouldn't consider adding Hanifin.

You are right about Tanev though, a 1st for Tanev may be enough, but I don't think Dellandrea has as much value as you think. He's 23 now and hasn't shown much in the NHL. He's very much a reclamation project at this point in time and not the top prospect he used to be.

On deadline day, if CHI has the retention slot to burn, a 3rd would probably cover it. But, CHI will probably want to keep both their retention slots open until then just in case something bigger and more lucrative falls in their lap.

That is a good point, which I should have thought of because I did it at first too.

Lol. There is no situation in which Dallas is trading Harley for any combination of players on the Flames. He's 22 and has 14 goals/35 points while playing responsible defense. He's putting up Weegar numbers (15g/33pt) despite being 8 years younger.
