I'm not so sure. Norris is a goof young 2C that we could really use. The problem here is the cap. Penguins can't fit this unless they send someone else out. If they get a haul of futures for Pettersson, then maybe. I'd also want this done a day or two before the TDL to give us a chance to flip Kubalik.

He's not that young and you have these other 2 centers...

Here's my issue with the trade...

1) No need for Kubalik. We don't need rentals, but I'm sure you can unload him to a contender at the deadline.
2) The 1st is Boston's. I know you're going for Celebrini, so I'd say change the 2024 1st(BOS) to OTT's 2025 1st.

He's not that young? He's 24 and honestly, this could actually give the Pens the opportunity to move Geno to wing like they did with Mario, or even let Geno slot next to Sid and build a 2nd line around Norris.

This would be a huge win for the Pens if they moved Boston's 1st to OTT's 2025 1st.

Pens have no interest in Kubalik, and unless we’re trading Geno somewhere (which I highly doubt), we don’t really have a need for Norris. Plus the 1st is a late round pick…

even with Boston 1st, id still do this trade, Norris if the shoulder injuries are in the past would be the perfect 2C behind sid and is very good. Allows us to move Geno to the wing like you mentioned which he is better suited as with age catching up to him fast

Sens should not be in on the Guentzel sweepstakes, while he is a great player, he does not fit any of our needs.

What Sens should be going after is cost-controlled 2-way forwards, futures, a top 4 2-way RHD, and a goalie.
