Because of how stupid of a trade it'd be for Buffalo. There goes the promising future for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in god knows how long.

What an awful trade for buffalo. 3 of the 4 best players in the trade are going to montreal and the rest going back to buffalo is garbage

I just wanted to comment again on how hilariously awful this trade is. I didn't even realize the first time that the sabres were retaining salary.

The point of the rebuild was to make the playoffs every year and be good for a long time. That trade is not only horrible but you just aged us for what? Your not going to win the cup with that team and then you would have to rebuild again meanwhile eichel is losing prime years of his career. You didn't add depth you forced prospects into too 6 roles they aren't ready for. I'm surprised this wasn't posted by a Canadians fan

Okposo is over rated, Kane is gone in a year, so its Reinhart for Pacioretty. Whatever Sabres fans whack it to Okposo, cant wait till he drops off and is a blight on our Salary cap
