Flames are hoping for a 1st, my guess is after the word got out that Flames were looking for a 2nd + prospect some teams offered extra picks (4ths and 5th) and Calgary is pushing it to see if they can get an overpayment

I like novak. He seems like one of the few players on that team that would fit this system. But kampf is a cup contending 4C, you have to appreciate the stability he brings so that’s a no deal for me

Also, im assuming tanevs price in the media includes 50% retention. Its not like there are teams that can fit 4.5m under the cap
