I think the Isles would definitely be interested in that type of deal especially if they don’t want to move Nelson.

I would do it in a heartbeat if I were the Isles especially since they can probably retain 50% of his $4MM cap hit and flip Johansen for an asset sometime before the 2025 TDL.

Fair. Meyers has upside though and I figured Anaheim could re-sign Carrick once he hits the open market.

I haven’t watched him much this year but he’s been solid in the games I’ve seen, and going off the past few seasons his floor seems to be Johansens ceiling. JGP/Lekhonen/Nichushkin would be awesome.
