Just cant see you getting a quality/high in the round 2nd for Wahlstrom, (Kiefer Bellows Mach 2), hes had 4-5 pro seasons and played in some good minutes with good players and doesn;t seem to "have it". Hes maybe a 3rd liner, but most teams (PHI definitely does) have better options. Hes just not developed further from his debut really, and just 24 pts in 73 games last yr, and maybe 15 pts this year in 60 games, hardly screams 2nd rounder, and maybe not 3rd rounder.

And while you're asking for nothing, Mayfield at 31 yrs old and 6 yrs left at 3.5mil is a meh. There might be somebody who just wants 2-3 yrs out of him, but he has a full NTC. Dont know, somebody will take him, but cant see him staying healthy at 34-37

I’m sure both Hawks & Iles would want to adjust the picks going each way through the standard negotiations that takes place with every trade but in essence I think a deal could be made.

Rhe Hawks would probably have interest in taking Lee off the Isles hands. Not sure a single 2nd gets it done though. Isles may need to add a 3rd or 4th as well. Lee is obviously better than Bailey, but $7m for two years is still a big cap hit to swallow.

Could see the Canes interested in Pageau, don’t think they’d spend a 2nd on him though.

Totally agree, 2x $7m cap hit and $10.35m in actual $$ out the door is at minimum a 1st round pick or 2 x 2nd round picks.

I doubt the Isles would give up that much to move Lee. He's really not a cap dump. I'd put him more in the "cap casualty" classification - similar to Hall. Lee is still a useful player. Likely to score 20+ goals again this season. Like you, I'd want more than a single 2nd to take him, but I wouldn't be shocked if Kyle took Lee and the 2d for future considerations either.
