Sabres aren't trading Mittelstadt and Colorado can't afford to sign him. As for the offer I don't think it's close because Manson is fine but he is almost 33 so he doesn't fit the timeline to compete for the Sabres

In the offseason? It costs a 2nd for a guy making 4 mil for one season who can still put up around 30 points? Definitely not

Manson is a great start, but the Sabres don't need Olausson at all, nor a 2nd 2 drafts from now. Add about 2 mill to Mittelstadt's contract as well

Avs fans are shocked that a guy who cant score 30 pts on a stacked Avs team making 4M that other teams are not jamming the phone lines for him. I'm sure they would give a 3rd for Lebanc

99.9% of defenseman in NHL history are MUCH CLOSER to being done at 33 than they are at 40

And regardless of what YOU think of Manson,
it’s highly unlikely that Adams goes after a 33 year old
Especially when Gus like Roy & DeMelo are about to be UFAs and are significantly younger
