It was also reported today by Michael Russo that the Canucks have had interest in Jon Merrill.

Yeah but he is a solid defensive forward so that costs something and points aren't everything in this sport. They are important but not for every single guy on your roster

4th is definitely spot on based on comps - Lazar, Olivier, T Pitlick, Motte, Sundqvist, etc. Hoping there's enough interest to kick that up a round, but I'm not expecting much more than this.

One thing I did wonder about the other day was Jett Woo. If I'm not mistaken, he was a Judd Brackett pick (who is now with MN) and his physicality is on-brand for Guerin. Plus MNs U23 RHD depth beyond Faber is pretty thin.

I suspect they prefer draft capital but the loose connection did cross my mind.

If the wild could get a conditional 4th for duhaime and Merrill, that turns into a 3rd for making conference finals or games played in the playoffs or something, I’d call that a win.

Duhaime is a gamer, plays hard, plays fast and is physical. Plus loved in the locker room. A good guy for a run.

I just saw Friedman reporting MAF isn't going anywhere, so RIP those ACGMs.

Just kidding. Of course people will still make them. lol
