How about we don't give up the 1st O/A pick PLUS MORE for the opportunity to pay someone 13mil a year and still miss the playoffs....

Peterson is a legit top 5 player in the NHL and only 25 years old. Probability says Celebrini will never be that

Cool he is still 7 years younger and 13 mil cheaper. If EP would get this team into playoffs I would maybe think different, but this team still misses.

the cap literally doesn't matter for the hawks right now and by the time it does Celebrini won't be making 900k either
