Zub is the perfect partner for Dahlin and Tkachuk would be just what the Doctor ordered for this Team. Zub alone would get a 1st and a good prospect in a trade. Sabres are dealing assets from areas of strength in the Organization. Would suck to lose Power, but LD are a lot easier to draft or acquire than top pair RD on a good contract.

Sabres couldnt fill that top pair RD for years. Yes, LHD position is deep, but when you trade Power - you end up with Samuelsson, RyJo there, which none of them is good enough to lead top 4 d-pair.

No, I would try Dahlin and Zub together and put Johnson and Joker together on the 2nd pair. That way I can have a puck carrier on each pair. And then when Samuelsson comes back next year he can take his place either with Johnson or Kovacevic and then hopefully Novikov is ready to take Zboril place. And I wouldn't sleep on Komarov, he is playing very Well.
