Description
What is Byrams value at right now? I know you guys have a LD surplus and need goalies bad. He's also not having a great season. Pens are looking to get younger and avs need a goalie. A deal like this could definitely be made, obviously need to add more but what could a deal like this look like?

Dude, you're way off in the value dept.. I know you said they'd need to add more but the pens would have to add a centrepiece to this trade.

Ned could be had for minimum a 3rd max a 2nd.. Byram would cost you a 22year old nhl centrman with roughly the same potential and cost control

Ned is a UFA in 20 games that he'll maybe play 5 of

The pens also have a surplus of LD with MP, Graves, POJ, Ludvig, Shea, Smith, Rathbone, and Pickering so it wouldn’t really make sense for the pens either

I’m high on Nedeljkovic. If you ask me, he’s the best goalie on the market right now, at a great cap hit. A few contenders will be vying for his services, and with added retention that would bring his cap hit below league minimum, im pretty confident that he can return a 2nd.

Yes, COL needs another goaltender, but with that said.. Byram will not be moved for Nedeljkovic. The only chance that they part ways with him is if it’s bringing them in a 2C.

You're def overvaluing byram, he's worth a late first now. Ned plus a second/third and a prospect would be about what he's worth. He's fallen off pretty good this year.

Yeah that makes sense. Maybe a 3 way with ducks to move Henrique there or something

What’s your point? They aren’t going to scratch Graves to insert Byram. And Pickering has the potential to be as good as Byram too. So why waste assets that we don’t have to bring in a guy that Sully may put on the 3rd pair

In what world is Byram fallen off this season? He's finally having a relatively healthy season 20 pts, always up in the play with the occasional defensive lapse.. he's still the 3rd best dman on the team

Add Crosby and then we can start talking as he's the only C you have that might interest the Avs in moving Byram. Then we start adding other pieces each side until the trade looks silly. Then everybody laughs at just how silly an idea it was and we all go to the pub and have a beer!

Because pretty sure everyone would rather have byram on the first d pair over Joseph

Well with that logic, then let’s just go after Quinn Hughes lol. There’s a lot of guys in the league that I’m pretty sure everyone would rather have in the lineup in general over POJ, that doesn’t mean the juice is worth the squeeze.

Doesn't tell the whole story, as a team they've been significantly worse than their cup year, georgiev let's in 4 goals per game
