That's fine, not a positional fit. Nobody is trying to convince anyone that Savard is going to be setting any land speed records, that's never been part of his game. MSL even commented on his skating speed in a recent press conference, he also explained what Savard brings to the table and why exactly he is desired on the team.

He is a 4th to 6th Dman. All I wanna say here is : Savard is a huge piece in MTL. Hughes won't let him go and potentially affect the developement of some pieces of is young Defense for scraps.

Savard isn't worth a 1st. But in a TDL scenario, if you want him, this will be Hughes price.
