    To Blues:
    Brady Tkachuk

    To Senators:
    Jordan Kyrou
Zachary Bolduc or Dailbor Dvorsky (I wouldn’t trade Dvorsky)
    2024 1st
    2025 2nd

    To Devils:
    Brady Tkachuk

    To Senators:
    Simon Nemec
    Dawson Mercer
    2024 1st
    2025 3rd

    To Bruins:
    Brady Tkachuk

    To Senators:
    Linus Ullmark
    Brandon Carlo
    Jake Debrusk (resigns)
    2026 1st (think that’s their next 1st available)

There’s some big discrepancies in these deals .

The NJ is by far the best one but it’s an overpay. Remove Mercer and I’d still do it .

I like Lekkerimaki but I still do not see a 1st line player there. More of a 2nd line top PP guy

yeah but he scored a nasty lacrosse goal today

He was always a scorer but I’m questioning his impact beyond just pts. Sens are where they are because of a lot of empty pts dropped by players

his underlying numbers are very good in the SHL but i will be the first to say is off-puck in the d zone his questionable. still a prospect though.

boeser is a scorer but also one of vancouvers best guys down low in the corners

mikheyev obviously is a very defensively sound forward with questionable finish

I think any team is gonna have to over pay to get BT…putting together a trade for him isn’t easy. I took Kyrou out of the Blues trade and replaced with Snuggs (doubt Blues would even consider). Curious what would you change with those 3? You’re a Sens fan, know more about them than I do.

OTT is not rebuilding, so if there is no top 6 F in their early to mid 20, or top pair RHD in their mid to early 20s then it is a automatic decline. team from within the division will have to greatly overpay.

(Took Kyrou out after seeing one of your responses…agreed on the softest team.)

Perhaps NJD is giving up a ****ton because a Rags fan proposed it.

Unless NJ falls off the wagon and the pick is top 10 I don’t see it. Mercer doesn’t excite me at all personally

I'd happily replace mercer with multiple 1sts.

NJDs next 3 1sts, top 5 protected. 15 million in surplus value if you value them at 5 mill each.

Or a valuation of Tkachuk as an 11.2 million dollar player. (Personally I value him closer to 10 but I digress)

I just don’t see a Tkachuk trade consisting of magic beans. Picks are magic beans especially when they come from teams that are playoff teams / contenders.

A Brady trade needs at least 1 young piece with top pair or top line potential

Seamus casey can be the centerpiece if you like replacing a 1st+3rd
Holtz can be the centerpiece replacing 2 1sts and us adding a 3rd
Mercer can be the centerpiece with us taking out 2 1sts
Meier can be the centerpiece replacing 1 first
Bratt can be the centerpiece replacing all the 1sts and more coming our way
Hamilton can be the centerpiece replacing a 1st

Nemec, Luke, Nico, Jack are not on the table

Even valuing Nemec at Damon Severson level (which I'd argue he's already at TODAY as a 20 year old) he will make 3 mill over these 3 years, provide 18-19 mill in value (15-16 mill in surplus). and then there's the 4 years of RFA you'd STILL have to pay us for. The value of effective NHLers on ELCs and with RFA control is simply too much.

If we sign nemec to a 4x6 deal walking him straight to UFA, that means he will make 27 mill total for 7 years on our team

Tkachuk will make 41 mill for 5.

Matthew had 4 teams on his list and still got an insane package
Eichel had a career threatening surgery and still chose where he went

You actually think the Sens would accept Mercer and a 1st for Brady???!!!!! Come on man, you can’t be serious with that.

I don't think Brady Tkachuk at 8.2 million is worth any more than that. If you generously value him at 11 million dollars thats 14 million dollars in surplus value over 5 years

If you value mercer for the next 5 years at a very low 5.1 mill AAV (this is what JT Compher just got in UFA lmao) on a 4x4 bridge deal walking him straight to UFA, that is 8.6 million dollars in surplus value). With an approximate value of a 5.5 million dollars for a 1st, it evens out.

Again, that is a VERY low estimate on mercer as he develops, and slightly higher than what I value Tkachuk at.

And both those guys had a reason to have limited offers.

I would legit trade Brady to SJ if they offer the highest package

    Is what it would take
