The Jackets do not have a logjam for centers. They're not going to trade any of their young guys for picks unless we're talking about something in the top 5. Makes no sense for them.

Sillinger have good potential but player like Voronkov, Fantilli even Johnson if they play him as a center are above him in depth chart in my opinion. They have some great talent coming up. At some point Sillinger will ask for a opportunity, he won’t settle for a bottom 6 role. There to much money involved and he got potential to offer more.
