Description

Basically avs have 500,000 in cap space with this trade only of they waive macdermid. Sent wagner to ahl. Sent kirivanta to ahl also.

Idk how many players you can carry in the playoffs. But
Cogs parise kirivanta would be extras

Jones and malinski would be extra for D

Prosvetov would be 3rd goalie in playoffs

But once playoffs start this is what it will have

It's gonna take more than just a 1st to get Frost out Philly becaue they don't have good center prospects.

Cap is basically irrelevant come the playoffs, you just have to negotiate the period between the TDL and playoffs under the cap. Roster numbers IIRC goes to 25. Basically you can make that trade, send a contract out with the 1st or waive enough players, run short roster (22) until the playoffs and add a back up G. Frost & Raanta with picks & prospects going the other way you can run a 22 man roster with no contracts going out and then add players back later for the playoffs (such as Landy). $375k spare in case the Avs wanted to bring a more expensive guy up like when Kovalenko arrives.

I don't know but the fact that they don't really have good center prospects makes Frost a lot more valuable for them and they won't trade him unless they get a big overpay for him.
