The Ducks deal is all wrong for ANA. Berard is the last type of player Verbeek would target due to his size, and the Ducks are absolutely stacked at LD to where it’s a problem, so no Jones. Edstrom has basically zero value and ANA has no need for that tier prospect with their pipeline. none of those prospects are interesting.

Othmann, Schneider, Kakko would be the three guys I could see ANA asking for. Perreault too, but he’s probably not in play (the others might not be either)

What about something like Vatrano, Henrique (retained), J.Perreault for NYR 1st, and one of Schneider or Othmann?

Washington trade is horrible for the Rangers, one of the worst I've seen. Drury wouldn't do that at gun point.

Rico = 1st
Vatrano + J.Perreault are maybe a bit much to pay for one of them, but no way it buys both. Maybe if we added like Vaak/Lacombe, but I think that’s just going unrealistically big
