Tampa has like nothing to work with, I highly doubt this gets it done. Tampa wants him, he seems to want to go to Tampa. Is the 2026 first too far away?

That's not getting Hanifin. It'll take something more like Tampa's 2026 1st + Ethan Gauthier or Isaac Howard. Hanifin going with an extension in place or having already told Tampa he will extend with them.

Then good luck somewhere else Gauthier and Howard aren't available. If TB really wants him then they can free up the money and sign him as a UFA

Good luck in the playoffs with that depleted defense.

Being completely honest even with him I don't see a Cup run.

Yah I figure this return is far too low for who is arguably the best defender on the market rn.

But I could see him signing as a UFA in tampa after a playoff run with a different contender.

There's a persistent rumor that Tampa is where he'd prefer to go. That one started with Seravalli, gotta take anything he says with a grain of salt but there's usually something more than just pure speculation behind what he says.
