I certainly hope Howard isn't an AHL player at this point. He should either be in the lineup or in a trade for a piece that is

I agree he should definitely be in nhl, but being in nhl in 2 years without a entry level contract yet, he would have to blow up in Syracuse

He's 19 years old and getting an education. He's playing really well @ Michigan and was a 22 draft . What the F**" he should be in the lineup already ? Absolutely CLUELESS!

Yeah I don’t really see perbix next season, I don’t really know all depth and up and coming prospects besides top, on other teams. But I definitely think we should upgrade on defense. Even if it’s putting sergachev on right and getting a top 4 LD

Yeah, I forgot he’s in 2nd year of NCAA. Is it 3 or 4 years that he’ll be on Michigan? I assume after that he’ll sign a ELC

I think as soon as next year thompson and goncalves should be in the lineup and Alnefelt will get a few games, high chance that groshev and finley get called up at some point as well. By 2025-2026 depending on how the previous season went I would think Huuhtanen, Duke, Howard, Gauthier and Powell would contend for spots on the roster. I dont think that perbix will still be on the team by 25-26 and Chaffee will probably get pushed out at that point too although it is always hard to tell with this management, they really like their 25 year old rookies for some reason.

Rather have Gauthier, Groshev or Huuhtanen play in the top six to develop offensively over Jeannot. Don't see us giving Jeannot a 7 year either. The same issues still exist, right side defense could still be better but a legitimate top six winger either needs to be developed or signed.

Literally you did
"He should either be in the lineup or in a trade for a piece that is"
He's 19 in college and a 22 draft. Little unrealistic expectations

Read his comment.
Even then he'd only be 21:not that unusual for a 21 yo to be in the AHL pretty normal actually.

He'd be 21 in college still and if he spent a year at 21 in the AHL it wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. Some people actually want to get an education.

Most high caliber players will have played in the league by 21. He should be in the AHL by next season and honestly staying at MSU wouldnt be great for his development. If he stays in college I hope that he transfers to Umich so he can play with Nazar and Brindley. Although if he decides to delay getting his ELC to pursue his education then that is commendable but not many players do that.

Sergachev is listed as left and right defense, so I’m confused by your comment
