Cap dump plus retention. All for another pick and a guy Buf doesn’t need. Thanks!

Damn dude stop putting mittelstadt. Avs can't afford him and avs could easily sign byram for the price of Rasmus

Flames easily say no. Andersson is the much better also RH and signed to an excellent contract.

    First, we aren’t trading Mitts

BUT if we were to get a pretty good Center prospect like Ritchie AND Byram, then maybe?
And it wouldn’t be to keep Byram, it would be to flip him for that RD that we need (he’s got more trade value than a later 1st imo)

So re-evaluate your sarcasm there pal

    But regardless,
I’d still be VERY surprised if we traded Mitts

Fun fact, Minnesota can't be a 3rd team for retention this year due to our LTIR situation. Russo confirmed it with the league.

With your logic you might as well try to facilitate a 3 way trade

Why would Buffalo even consider that? There's nothing of value there at all

    Sure
But the Sabres are still building, so if Byram couldn’t be moved for the RD we need RIGHT AWAY, then it’s also not the end of the world

    But like I’ve said before,
    Sabres are NOT trading Mitts
And the Avs don’t have room to sign him anyways
