Washington has plenty of cap space to swallow Kuznetsov's deal for another year without giving up a 1st and taking on another bad deal in Armia. They decline this.

Caps hang up and laugh. There's only 2 options for them. 1 a mutual termination of the deal, 2 a buyout this offseason. Caps will have plenty of money this offseason regardless so there is no point in making a deal like this.
