could take out wallinder in the detroit one and id still be considering it, the pick would probably have protections/conditions as well.

Wasn't sure how many teams would offer a top 40 pick for Ullmark, but that could get pushed to one of the 4 theoretical 1sts I guess if push comes to shove

the bigger problem is that ullmark isn't going to accept a trade to canada.

Detroit declines. 1 piece too heavy
Ottawa declines, terrible value
underpay but hes a rental next year and we dont need that

Is there a reason why people seemingly undervalue Liljegren on this website so much? Every game/stat i have seen and read has him looking like a reliable enough 2 way d who can eat some minutes

Leafs aren’t doing that trade:
1/ Batherson is overpaid and overhyped by SENs fans who - let’s face it - don’t have much else to cheer for. We’re top offensive team in league - not an area of need
2/ Lili is playing well, cost controlled (RFA) and RHD; why are we moving him?
3/ we don’t trade inter division, even with our little brother down the highway

But I dont think the actual leafs are looking to move him though its just some of the fans. Hes contributing well over what his salary is this season. I think the profiles as a sound 2RD, would like him next to sanderson `

It goes in cycles; the Leafs were bad for decades and now that we are finally competitive, playoff victories have been hard to come by. Maybe this year 🤞
