Holland already said he is not trading broberg for a rental he also said he is not looking at doing anything in regards to goalies.

So if Mantha with retention is worth a 2nd round pick, then you're suggesting Kaliyev is only worth NAK and a 5th?

Mantha would be a good temporary top-liner until Kempe is healthy, at which point he would drop down to be Pierre-Luc DuBois' RW. But with Turcotte, DuBois, Mantha, Anderson-Dolan, Grundstrom, Lizotte, LaFerriere and Lewis, we have more than enough bodies to play in the bottom 6 without Aube-Kubel even if we were to trade Kaliyev.

I would trade the second for Mantha with 50% retention. He's the kind of rental that makes sense for our circumstances.
