I don't understand why so many Pens fans think Vegas wants Smith back. They traded him for cap reasons, and certainly don't want his 5m cap hit next season.

Carolina doesn't have the cap to take on Eller as a dump. You'd either need to drop him from the deal or retain on Guentzel
