How is that an overpay? Buch has averaged a point per game over the last 3 seasons and is good defensively. All of that at a price tag of $2.9m for this season and next makes him worth a ton

No reason to trade Dowd for anything less than a high second or late 1st. Throw in as many late picks as you want, ain’t happening. Caps keep him if they don’t get a great return. No reason to trade him
