Description
Friedman said that people expect to do something big and it's more than likely a C that isn't on the board that anyone's talking about... here's my take

Seattle has beniers, gourde, Wright, kartye, mccann, and wennberg for now down the middle, with Vince dunn, Larsson and then nobody really very skilled behind them.

I think Seattle would need an insane overpay to move McCann. He’s the guy on that team for now

Fun to dream, but I see McCann like JEE for the Wild. It would need to be an insane offer to trade away a high quality C locked in at $5M.

This is certainly something big and off the board. Love the fit for Colorado. I’ll be interested to hear what Seattle fans think though… Not sure if they have any incentive to move him without a major haul coming back, like @NARC311 mentioned. I would consider Byram + 1st a major haul.

Seattle ACGM here. Yeah, not likely to happen. No real incentive for them to move McCann at this time. Byram and a1st are a start but I think it would take a lot more to get Seattle to actually listen to the offer. Wennberg is more likely the player being moved (UFA, no intent to re-sign because of Wright).

I think they'd settle for a guy who can player centre and score 40 goals
