I’d rather keep the one not great contract in Mikheyev than bring in two not good contracts in Clifton and Greenway

They are more reasonably priced for what they provide and offsets Miki's $. Good bottom 6 forward and good 3rd pair guy. Plus a little term.

The greenway contract is fine and is for a year less than mikheyev. I would not do this trade.

That's a ton of spare parts for Greenway.

Fair enough - I wouldn't mind a re-do on Clifton.

Do whatever you want but although not star players by any standards Greenway only big forward with pushback we have and Clifton only right d we have with grit so our gm would be insane to trade either of these players but do the Vancouver fan troll thing and try to dump Mikheyev and your other useless scraps on us for players we need.
If you bridge dwellers want it we must obey

I think you misunderstood me:

Woo = Spare Part (who may never play an NHL game)
Draft pick = spare part
Mikheyev = spare part, even if he had a good contract.

As meh as I am on Clifton I think Greenway has been a rare bright spot this season, and taking back several spare parts for him (even with getting Clifton off the books) would be foolish as he brings something that Buffalo needs and cannot replace internally.

Then again, just saw the Byram trade so at this point I don't even know any more.....

I'm dumbfounded by our double talking. Granato wanted all d on natural side in interviews when it was only Dahlin. Makes no sense. Clifton last of the rightness with Jokiharu an rfa. And our best d prospect is Novikov yet another leftie
