100%. Big overpayment to get retention on a solid player with term from a division rival. Point of the post is that Toronto should look elsewhere for a defenceman. I think Hanifin would be a solid option but I think an RD is best. Maybe Walker.

IDK why leafs fans want to add more defense instead of upgrading their core; and odly from calgary wink but i think leafs should aim to parayko

Remove the extra players and it's probably good enough. No need for Minten or Timmins.
Maybe make the 5th conditionally higher if Toronto reaches Conference Finals.

Where is the solid player? I only see a bad bottom pairing guy
