Here's the thing the Canucks could actually afford both Guentzel at 50% retention and DeBrusk by moving Lindholm

Could play Edmunson in this scenario instead...though I know Lohrei has his bumps he can be a difference maker

Don't see the Bruins including DeBrusk and a 1st...If DeBrusk is included (With a pick/prospect) BOS will need another solid winger in return as well or else there really is not point IMO

Yeah that's where the question of value comes in and which teams value which players more. It's hard to judge

BOS can pay someone else to retain money for them, VAN can't afford it

also, you need more than six or seven d men. should roll in with eight or nine that you think you can play. i'm fine with lohrei being the eight. point is, if you move forbort and grzelcyk out, two guys have to come in.
