Another JVR trade

Created by: CaptainTavares

Description
Another possible JVR trade. This time they trade JVR to the Isles for two young players, a LW prospect to replace JVR in Dal College who still has potential and a young RHD in Pulock. The leafs may have to add a pick to complete the deal, possibly a second rounder. The same deal for Colin Miller is also completed from my last post. Go Leafs Go!

Isles are far too thin at D to trade Pulock away. Besides, JVR won't sign an extension with NYI. That's why the Hamonic trade never happened.

Fair enough. Isles looking for a LW to play with JT, so just a proposal. After Hamonic trade it makes sense for them to hold on to Pulock. The value is there however.

I wouldn't call a 2nd rounder and a solid veteran "crap". They need to move out some D, maybe a forward prospect would have to added.

As a Bruins fan I would love to get to face Miller 4x a season. I honestly don't understand what people see in this kid. Even among the Bruins pink hats he's massively overrated because he's a fast skater with a heavy shot.

No one is giving up a young defenseman for JVR.

You may be right here, just an idea. I do not have much knowledge about Miller, only from Bruins fans.

While I do like your Pesce thoughts better, I don't think Pulock is NHL ready, but a solid prospect and as such, NYI might be looking for some depth on D, (ie: Marincin, Marchenko) although a low value deal! Islanders were also the group who made the play on the 4-1 in Grabner! They have room both on the roster and in # of contracts to take on such a deal! Maybe 2 forward prospects and a couple of D bringing back a single entity!

I agree I would much prefer Pesce than Pulock. Maybe a contract dump type deal as well could work.

Decent offensive threat, but seems to skate himself into turnovers. He can lay some punishing hits, but those are few and far between. He's not terrible defensively, but he has positional flaws and can get out muscled by opposing forwards.
