This trade could help both teams since if Hornqvist or Rust gets injured you could move Hertl to the right

Nah. Trading a top 6 RW that puts up 70 points a season and almost a PPG in the playoffs for a 3C is a very bad move. Doubt Sprong and ZAR start the season in the show, might not even see the NHL this season. Not worth it. Keep Kessel. Win Cups. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Hertl is not even close to Kessel's value. The retaining idea is awful to Pens. As a Pens fan I hate this trade. No way!

PIT shouldn't trade Kessel if you ask me. But if they do they will almost definitely get more.
