Truscott is a high-quality defensive prospect in the NCAA, it's more than just a 2nd + 4th. The reported ask from the Devils for Toffoli is a pick + prospect, this would meet those requirements.

Also, most of the suitors have dropped out though, they've gone for different options. Florida got Tarasenko, Vegas got Mantha and Hanifin, and Edmonton got Henrique and Carrick. Carolina doesn't buy rentals. Boston doesn't need wingers. Since the Devils never trade with the Rangers, I believe only Colorado and Vancouver are potential trade partners.
