Why do u want Kakko??
He is what he is- a decent 2way middle6 player

I’d rather hang on to Ostlund & see what he becomes

Okposo & Girgs (and EJ & Olofsson) can be shipped out to whoever will give us the best draft picks

Rather just keep Ostlund, the rest of the trade is overkill for Kakko straight up

I think Ostlund's potential is probably higher.

BUT, BUF wants/needs grit and size. Something Kakko has and Ostlund does not.

I could see Kakko being a target for KA. Just seeing what a potential trade could look like...

Ostlund is probably at least 2 years away from an NHL roster and then probably at least 2 more years before he is actually contributing, more than being detrimental.

KA is showing he is no longer in patience mode. Kakko helps now and in the future.

There’s other guys out there that can help- example:
Trenin from NSH is a UFA after the season & is a big tough winger (who can also plate Center)
And we wouldn’t have to give up a good prospect to get him

And KA loves them 2019 draftees.....

We need more than 1 player....We're losing a ton of Fs with no one that can immediately step in.

Kaakoo is not an upgrade over Tuch, he is reclamation project at this point.
