Maybe I value Lundkvist differently than you guys. He has shown significant improvements this season and can (in my eyes) still be a top 4 dmsn. Maybe not the best defender but the skill is there and his game has an offensive punch

What kinda adds would Ottawa be looking for? I don’t think they’d get a Stankoven/Bourque, MAYBE Bischel but I think a bit of sweetening would have to come from Ottawa (or maybe downgrade the 1st to a 2nd) but even then I don’t think Dallas considers Bischel

Just my opinion, but I think they’re going to try and recoup a bunch of picks for Chychrun. Think they’ll do something at the draft for a pick in the 15-20 range and some other picks. Might try to move those picks after for either a top G or top 4 RD. In terms of style, think they’d be more interested in a defensive first guy who can play top PK mins. Hard to find those though lol I could see them biting on Faksa, they need defensively responsible players in the bottom 6.

I might be in the minority here, but if I'm OTT I would take this deal.

I don't hate it. Adding in Faksa gives us an overpaid 4C, but honestly I'd take it for the responsibility and veteran presence that can move into a 3C role

Well first Ottawa wouldn't take on Faksa.... as part of that package unless more was offered. I think the ask will be a 1st - top prospect - prospect/draft pick.... Mind you with Staios at the helm we're likely getting a 3rd and a 3rd in 2025..... lol
