Description

Jiricek expressed frustration regarding opportunity/playing time on the Jackets not long ago. While he wouldn't get a huge bump in playing time in VAN this year, he would get the experience of a playoff run and next season there's definitely opportunity to claim the 2RD spot behind countryman Hronek.

Willander was drafted a year after Jiricek, five spots later, so there's not a lot of distance in their value. I added Truscott as the sweetener, but it could be a pick instead.

Fine idea, but Jiricek's biggest problem was he just wasn't playing anywhere. He's been great in Cleveland and should be a huge part of the future, he's not going anywhere.
