Do people just like to say and use the word circumvention? I’d really like to understand this because it does bother me a bit.

What Vegas has done is completely within the rules so it, by definition, is not circumvention. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it can’t be within the rules.

My favorite thing about this is the OP conveniently leaves Lehner on the LTIR. Guess that money doesn’t matter, right?

Mark stone is the absolute best contract in the NHL. Gets hurt right around the TDL like clockwork and comes back for playoffs. Best contract in the league. I really hope Vegas wins back to back just to rub it in the face of all the babies complaining as if they wouldn't be all for it if it was their team.
