Well the real answer is Tre had to spend the money to keep Klingberg on LTIR rather than normal IR status.

Still I'd rather him spend $3 million of Klingberg's LTIR money on a single upgrade player than 4 waiver players like he did.

Funny thing about waivers, is if a player is injured an emergency player can be called up or down without waivers, that is how Holmberg has avoided waivers all year round.
